Highlighting our amazing woodwork social enterprise

Our woodwork social enterprise despite COVID and lock downs has remained a constant source of support. Support to our Members and trainees, many of them vulnerable young people furthest from the labour market and with complex support needs, as well as, thanks to our customers, support to our charity in terms of the financial contribution it makes.

Winner of ‘BUILD Magazine Home & Garden Awards 2021 – Most Ethical Furniture’, our woodwork team continue to upcycle wood from across the UK and, using the Social Enterprise model, transform the lives of Edinburgh’s young people and most vulnerable. With your help (in customer orders), signposting (sharing the love) and referrals (young people or isolated or vulnerable adults you know love working with their hands) we can go from strength to strength.
