VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Tartan Shop Assistant Required
We’re looking for a Tartan Shop Assistant – can you help?
About the Role
Join our wonderful Tartan Social Enterprise Team, working in our wee Tartan Shop on Candlemaker Row.
Experience of working in a shop is essential, as lone working in our small tartan shop will be required.
Are you able to open and close shop, handle cash and card payments? What about pricing as outlined by the shop team, stock control, display and merchandising?
Rotational basis to cover 7-day opening 10.30 to 4.30 shifts to cover opening hours.
Customer service is key.
Full training provided.

We would not be able to provide our support and services to Edinburgh’s most vulnerable, without our fantastic volunteers. Volunteers make a positive contribution to our Members’ lives and ensure the continued success of our community.
From two hours a month, the volunteer commitment varies depending on the role. All our volunteers receive ongoing support and have access to free training throughout the year.
