We are delighted to announce that Edinburgh University Medical Students donated he proceeds from their ball to our project.
Many of the students were involved in a visit to the project with Doneil McCleod, Psychiatric Nurse and Head of the NHS Access Centre Clinic. They were so impressed by the project and moved by our members stories and the transformation the GCP supported in peoples physical and mental that they nominated our charity as the beneficiary of their ball.
A huge thanks to them for the generosity. £300 will pay for a weeks training for two of our guys in the workshop from our experienced furniture makers or it will be used to fund one of our 6 week self-esteem courses which tackles the root of isolation and lack of self-worth. This kind of donation makes a huge difference to the lives of the people we support. Thanks everyone.
