Join our dynamic team as a Catering Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hard working catering assistant with a lot of compassion, patience and a positive attitude to join our social enterprise team in a new catering facility that we open early June 2017.

Duties include: setting up the café, using and cleaning the coffee machine, providing our customers with outstanding customer service, basic food prep, stocking up, ensuring our café is clean, tidy and presentable, ensuring that HACCP and COSHH is maintained and updated, closing café down at the end of the day, Cashing handling, servicing meeting rooms, supervising volunteers and trainees and any other reasonable duties as requested.

You will be required to work alongside and positively encourage trainees and volunteers (our members) who may have additional support needs.

You will be required to always remain positive and patient whilst ensuring our customers only ever experience the highest quality standards of service.

The successful candidate would ideally be required to start immediately but some flexibility / notice period can be negotiated for the right candidate .

This position(s) range from 20-35 hours per week and are Monday to Friday.

We are a living wage employer with a strong value base and ethos.

The rate of pay is £8.25 per hour (plus the option of a employers pension contribution for those eligible).
