Hub South East raises £15,000 for the Grassmarket Community Project

Hub South East Scotland Ltd, development partner to public sector services in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Borders, has presented the Grassmarket Community Project with more than £15,000 after a recent charity golf day.

Duddingston Golf Club played host to 18 teams who enjoyed a round of golf, followed by a meal, raffle and auction. Through team entry, sponsorship and money raised on the day, the Grassmarket Community project will benefit from a total of £15,099.15.

Richard Park, Hub South East’s Operations Director said: “We’re proud to have raised such a fantastic amount for a very worthy local charity. Furthermore, we were inspired to hear about the Grassmarket Community Project’s valuable work in terms of supporting vulnerable people through social enterprise and we are keen to explore options to involve them in future projects, so that the legacy of this event continues well beyond the funds raised.”

We cannot believe everyone’s generosity and support and would like to thank all the people involved for raising such an amazing amount of money. We cannot thank Hub South East enough for their support, without which we couldn’t continue to reach the most vulnerable.
