The Grassmarket Community Picture House is unique in Edinburgh. Now in it’s tenth year, every Wednesday at 7pm we open our doors at the Grassmarket Centre to absolutely anyone who enjoys cinema in the city. Our Community Cinema is physically accessible, warm, safe and inclusive environment.
Thanks to our continued, invaluable support from the Edinburgh Film Guild, all our screenings are FREE! Edinburgh Film Guild is one of the oldest continuously running film societies in the world and has a long history of organising film festivals, screenings, educational and cultural events. It and has played a vital role in bringing cinema of all genres to the people of Edinburgh and the surrounding area and supports numerous community screens across Edinburgh.
