An Artist’s Eye (2018) + Q&A

“Stubbornness, selfishness… madness drives me”, this is how the subject of legendary British filmmaker Jack Bond (Vibration, Anticlock, It Could Happen Here, Dali in New York, The Blue-Black Hussar ) describes the creative impulse that spurs him on in his work. The subject in question is Chris Moon, a brilliant young British painter utterly devoted to his craft. Bond explores Moon’s process, his inspiration and his often difficult relationship with his work, in this intense portrait of creative fervour. We are proud to be able to bring this film to Edinburgh in conjunction with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival
