The Cockburn Association is Edinburgh's Civic Trust. Founded in 1875, they campaign on conservation, planning, transport and environmental issues in the City. Their aim is to raise the quality of life for everyone living in, working in or visiting Edinburgh. The Association is the guardian of the Capital City's unique architectural heritage and campaigns to ensure that new developments are of the highest architectural standards.
